Re: Watch lists

My favorite tech stock is MRVC, a so-called networking "incubator". Have been accumulating heavily in the past month, but have followed for about 3 years. Now trading at just over 13 but it's been > $80 in past 6 months. Doug Fant has mentioned it a couple of times.

A good article describing its prospects:

The number of potential spinoffs is truly incredible:

At the moment MRVC is tracking its first IPO, LMNE a supplier of networking gear that even in this environment is growing in excess of 30% Y to Y. The parent still owns 95% of LMNE which it will spin off once it gets IRS approval for a tax-free distribution. Once expected to take place by May, it's been delayed to sometime in the 3rd Q. 1.80 shares of LMNE for each share of MRVC so the rest of MRVC is virtually free.

Disclosure: Biggest patch holdings OXY & KEG. (Just timely unloaded a big positiion in MDR.) Also follow and like LPTH.
