Roger--Of note to your theory about power problems not being a California problem. Yesterdays LA Times indicates that the entire West is in the same boat. Rapid population growth and little build up of energy supplies. They claim it may start showing up this summer as cooling needs (air conditioning and so forth) strain supplies.
The figures they show are credible and worrying.

Sounds like Microsoft!!

Yet, MSFT is actually a play on the judicial system this week and made for a very nice swing trade.
