I admire both his style and his thinking, but if the thirties provides any lesson, it suggests that looking across a misty valley too quickly can be miserable for one's longer term financial health. Until we see real signs of capitulation, going long doesn't make sense IMHO.

he's right...those are the types of headlines seen near bottoms. not "economic growth slows to zero, but that's good news for stock market investors".
