AMD is very vulnerable on flash.

I suspect flash will be in serious oversupply in Q2.

Considering flash is 40% of AMD's profits - things could get a whole lot uglier.

Kash,

Yep....flash prices are coming down fast....and the next generation wireless is not getting off the ground. I think we are getting back to where the markets were 3 years ago when I first started buying stocks.

Hopefully, the feds interest rate cuts will get $$$ circulating and capex on the part of key companies like telecom will start to move up and maybe absorb some of this inventory.

Although things are getting grimmer, I am still buying oils and retail...I have made some nice $$$ in those stocks. Nonetheless will increase my cash position in the next month or so until its clearer how bad things may get.

Kash,

Market reaction to ALTR news is surprisingly muted. I expected a bigger drop this AM.
