Kingston Technology Co., Fountain Valley, Calif. today said that it will spend $15 million to increase RDRAM RIMM module capacity to support the continuous ramp of Intel Pentium 4 processor based systems. Kingston will be adding additional manufacturing lines to support up to one million modules per month solely dedicated to the Intel Pentium 4 program. Kingston currently has over 25 SMT lines, as well as high-end ATE test equipment and proprietary RC2000 RIMM module production testers, it said.
