Hi whitepine. As you can see

new thread reps show up here on a regular basis to try and isolate those of us who prefer an open and free exchange vs the elaborate controls established on the new thread(g).

There are more posters over after the extensive off and on thread marathon effort to set up a controled thread and then recruit every possible contributor for it. As if this is some kind of political election where whoever campaigns the hardest and gets the largest number of votes wins, LOL.

Am amazed at the time some of these folks have on their hands to do this!

My attitude is that a thread should develop on it's own without a lot of hawking. None of us here have gone over to their thread to recruit. Nor have I gone on a PM campaign to try and pressure people to stay here. That seems a bit over the top to me.

I'm simply encouraging those who are already here or arrive here discuss Oil & Gas, or other sectors primarily in the natural resource area to do so in a relaxed and thoughtful manner now that the trouble makers have left the building(g). Let them snipe at us from their protected bunker if they wish to do so. I understand this is a fairly common occurance and not only speaks for itself, but reafirms why I'm happy that some of them are no longer here(ggg).

Best regards

Isopatch
