I don't know much about the ski resorts in the Alps except big names, like San Moritz, Zermatt, Cortina, Chamonix... never really skiied there...

Give the market another week, then you might want to try Chernobyl.

Try Cortina, in Italy or Crans-sur-Sierre or Sanct Mortiz in Switzerland. Zermatt is a dump where you have three hours of the sun light a day, you better off sky on the Monte Rosa in Italian side that is very sunny and faces the Po Valley! Don't wait for the Easter,(there is no recession here, yet!GG) come now, small crowd, and good snow. Kind regards
