btw as the bubble has imploded and the "wealth" has not pushed up another sector, much of the "wealth" never existed anywhere except on paper fueled only by easy margin debt.

Greenspan's mistake was a common error that lies throughout the history of the West: thinking you know when you don't know.

The Fed can not always fine tune the economy. Even a great mechanic cannot always fix every engine he works on.
