Tony, in tech you can't really hold any stocks as SWING trades until at least one, and better, two things happen.

(1) A Company addresses their forward guidance issue. Either they said they something positive which probably gives you 2-4 weeks of relatively clear sailing before they decide they have to change their mind, or they warn, the stock tanks, and you play the bounce if the reaction is overdone. You short as appropriate if you can, too, of course.

(2) The much better scenario is if the Big Players and the overall Market start ignoring bad news, or at least discounting it.

If you can get both of these, great. Of course the third thing is that the Market looks 6 months ahead, so at some point it will get positive just because it sees that business is improving (maybe a s fast as it dropped off) and easy earnings comparisoins as we get into 2002. That time is hard to say.
