Here is a portion of CFO Dan Cohrs' interview. Note that EXDS carries 7% of all internet traffic! Since GX carries 50% of EXDS traffic outside Asia and 66% in Asia, GX carries about 4% of internet traffic from this one customer alone. That's pretty incredible.

I wonder how much of TOTAL internet traffic GX carries.

Dan Cohrs - Well, first we sold GlobalCenter to EXODUS, and we now we own almost 20% of EXODUS as a result of that transaction. We also have a seat on EXODUS' board. We negotiated a contract that requires that company to buy at least 50% of its bandwidth requirements from GLOBAL CROSSING outside Asia. Within Asia, EXODUS is required to buy at least 60% of its bandwidth requirements from ASIA GLOBAL CROSSING (AGCX) [a partnership among GLOBAL CROSSING, SOFTBANK (9984), and MICROSOFT (MSFT)] with a stated goal of two-thirds. So around the world, significantly more than half of EXODUS' bandwidth needs will be purchased from GLOBAL CROSSING or ASIA GLOBAL CROSSING. It's important to note that EXODUS today already accounts for 7% of the traffic on the entire Internet. This is a 10-year contract, and we have said that over 10 years we project that there should be at least $4 billion to $5 billion of revenue from that agreement.
