Right now is a total headfake on Dow and Naz...maybe some more headfaking to go....but, in a bear, I doubt the market "floats" nicely upward.....either it floats downward, goes strong downward, or rallies up....but floats up? nah <G>...all IMO...

Re March rate cut: Market is focused on the market and consumer sentiment. Greenspan and the Fed are focused on a whole lot more. Greenspan said that the January and February consumer spending was not as bad as the December consumer spending drop led many to expect. I believe that the Fed rate cuts in January were as big as they were primarily because the Fed did not see the effect whether had on December consumer spending. I believe the market and Greenspan have significantly different views on the urgency and size of rate cuts.
