"Green said Asia Global Crossing Japan will work closely with Marubeni Corp.'s video content storage and distribution venture Nexion Corp. to provide these optical-fiber network services to Japanese broadcasting firms."

The PR doesn't mention that Marubeni owns 51% Global Access Ltd. and 35.5% of Pacific Crossing-1 (PC-1) through Global Bandwidth Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary and 35.5% of Pacific Crossing (Southern) through Vectant, Inc. another a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Marubeni is a power-house. GX is becoming one. It seems that kiretsu(sp?) is being replaced by numerous subsidiaries with interlocking relationships. JMHO
