John, do not close up shop yet. There are mirror servers, and sometimes one or the other is slower. SI has been okay on the East Coast today......

I guess you have had problems with SI again. I have been gone so I missed that unique fun. Very frustrating. One time I had a post to Neocon that was the most impressive thing I had ever written. And I figured out the secret to life.

Of course SI crashed and that information was lost for all time, as I have no idea what it was that I had written.

Oh well, hang with us to the bitter end (which I think is still a good long way away).
