Praise for Singapore Air

So, I flew Singapore air on my trip to SE Asia and I was very pleased with the service and the plane and the lounges and such, but they really took care of me on the ground at LAX yesterday. I was filling out the customs form when I noticed that I didn't know where my passport was. The last time that I saw it was during the stopover in Taipai yesterday when I pulled it out at a duty free shop. Singapore Air called ahead and had a representative waiting at the gate for me as well as an customs guy. They looked up my passport number so that customs would have the information before I got there. After a couple of history questions (who was the 16th president), I was let back in the country. I should point out, that the Singapore Air ground crew person brought me to the front of every line too. I just got a call from Singapore Air that they found my Passport at the Duty Free in Taipai and that it is coming in tomorrow....they are going to hand deliver it to my house. Truly exceptional service. They could have let me deal with it by myself, but instead did everything in their power to make the situation as painless as possible, even though it was my fault.

If you fly to SE Asia, I recommend Singapore Air strongly.
