I would like for you to be right, believe me. I look at the attempt to rally the market today and see that people sold into it. Greenspan doesn't appear to be jumping at the chance to cut, and indeed the new Secretary of the Treasury has intimated that he is not going to continue the market-saving PPT interventions that were regular events during the Clinton era.

And then there's the time of year we're in. Typically, the first week of March is not positive for the market. And then there's tax season selling...

I'd like to see a high volume whoosh down with a VIX spike before I'll be comfortable going long, even for a position trade.

But then I don't know too much either. <gg>

BridgePlayer I have one HUGE problem with your scenario.

EVERYONE and their brother, uncles and the baby next door and 99.9% of the bears think we are ready for a rally. I am cautious and closed out my NAZ puts, but since when does something happen that everyone expects.
