I think that you guys are missing the point as you focus on issues of decorum I heard about FredE only recently and looking back on his posts, I have to say that he is one of the more astute individuals who I have seen post on SI. I saw his comments on BRCM and QCOM and the guy really seems to be able to zero in on key issues. I don't have a position in BRCM and am long QCOM but that is neither here nor there. Are you seriously suggesting that if FredE had used more decorum in his posts the longs on this board would have taken him any more seriously? Not a chance! No more so than the longs on QCOM took what he said seriously though he was a whole lot more civil in his post about that stock. The guy has been warning about BRCM ever since it was in the mid 100s I think. I'll take him for what he is - I read his posts for his thoughts about stocks and the market and not for his etiquette. FredE: Just keep doing your thing - may be next time, I will be on board with you when you short a BRCM type of stock! FWIW, I rarely use swear words in talking or writing - chalk that up to my puritanical upbringing - but that is neither here nor there when it comes to looking for good sound analysis on stocks or the market.

Dear Paul, I don't mean to be argumentative about this, but I just had the most delighful exchange in verse the other day and I though of you and your tender sensibilities and so I've decided to share some of my more civil effort with you. You'll notice that the poem is a joint effort. Though I haven't a clue what Poet was smoking.
