<<The herd trying to run out of the door reminds me of the NAZ>>

LOL....That's a good metaphor...Everyone trying to cut and run at once <VBG>....so much FEAR in this market....Incredible sums of money on the sidelines....The Houses have made a boatload by shorting the tech stocks and the QQQ. Yet, IMO they may have pushed things too far. Greenspan is not having the impact on stabilizing the market that they might have hoped. Their very lucrative IPO window is almost totally shut and investor confidence and psychology is sick. It will take some time to re-build...I sure hope we hold the 2000 mark on the Naz....I'm not sure why Greenspeak doesn't the balls to admit he is behind the curve with cutting interest rates...the economy needs more liquidity --sooner rather than later. IMHO he should step up to the plate this week and cut .50 basis points and do it again at the end of March. We also need some large Funds and Houses to have more of a long term approach -- they have become so cautious. Oh well, I am just a little frustrated. It's a blessing I don't have any AMZN (it would have been a great short though). I will be patient for I know that eventually this storm will pass.

Best Regards,

Scott

BTW, I did see the Gates talk on CNN.
