Merced isn't likely to contribute anything really significant to the bottom line.

But it has excellent price/performance!

I do not see why not. Even if Merced would take only 10% of unit market share then it's $ share may be around 50%.

ps pIII-1.133 is also a great product and revenue contributor which is listed on Intel site for more than a half of year now as an existing product.
