Mike, that's right...and right after they hit a new high in '65, they went into another 10-year bear market that shaved almost 70% off again!

i'm not sure what the inflation adjusted utes look like, but one thing's for sure, only long term investors with extraordinary longevity ever saw a positive return on capital if they bought them in '29.

which proves how idiotic the WS 'long term' mantra really is...it all depends on when you buy!
