Harry,

Ted, Re..They closed the airport and some freeways are being checked for seismic damage. Damage to buildings is not extensive but there are some with shattered windows and cracked foundations. Injuries were minor. <<<<<<<

How close to Seattle do you live? I took it by your posts you lived in the country somewhat.

No, I am in the city....West Seattle.

And actually the extent of the damage is much worse than thought initially.....not horrific, but there is a lot of clean up and repair. Most of the bridges are closed and have to be checked for seismic damage. A major freeway/highway...the Alaskan Viaduct...was built on fill and is closed, undergoing damage checks. There have been landslides and housing slipping off their foundations. The airport is mostly closed....some flights may resume tomorrow. A number of historic buildings took a hit as well as the main airport terminal. All and all not good but it could have been much worse.

Also the other day you posted about Harris and said there must be a God. Maybe God heard you and said "Quit messing with my main man GW" <<<ggg>

Its not like God to be in denial. LOL
