I made no assuption that this is or is not a low, just comparing todays position in the MACD and price with those of the last peak. The price is lower as of today and the MACD HIST/PPO per the chart that PAUL supplied are higher. So as of today those indicators are moving up slightly with the price moving down. They are diverging as of today. If one doesnt want to call it a positive divergence since the short-term bottom is not set, then lets call it "A positive divergence without a swing low is not set", but it sounds a bit wordy. Also that is also making the assumption that a low was not set today - not arguing if a low was or was not set, just that such statement is making an assumption.

Granted one would like to wait to the bottom is set, since those indicators could reverse at anytime and I am in agreement with you. So what do we call this type of divergence?
