I only used the word, "illegal" because you did. If he really believed, rightly or wrongly, that he could move the market, and if that were a part of his reason for making the recommendation, my contention is that it would be unethical.

I never said that his subscribers would be worse off.

Not really. There was an avalanche of complaints about what had happened, but that's not the same thing.

Seems pretty selfish that you want to punish radio listeners for something they had no part in.
