I missed that but heard about it of course. Found a bit of loose plaster in my office, nothing much really. What I have noticed is that I feel like I've taken 4 finals today... pretty stressed out! I'll be glad to have a few normal days after this one, which thankfully wasn't worse.

Re: "Did you watch the clip of Gates scrambling off the stage ;-)" - I think I saw part of it. It didn't look like he panicked or anything, but I may not have seen it all.

The laughable part was when some schmuck reporter asked him about the earthquake and what it might mean. As if he were a geologist. Bill's knowledge of seismicity only extends to making small software companies quake in their boots.

PS. Also giggled about the talking heads telling people to stay home, don't drive, etc. all the while begging viewers to bring videotape of the earthquake and its aftermath to the stations. Whatever.

Bill, Starhawke and all Washingtonians and Oregonians, Hope you are all well and not too shook up. As a native Californian, I know that a quake can really disturb your psyche for awhile. So far, I haven't heard of any deaths and I hope I don't.
