SHAG RUGS! AVOCADO and ORANGE!
Oh yes!
The memories these colors evoke- the stories!
It's funny- I'm supposed to be writing - my excuse for not having dinner made-- working on my book about dear Libby the Librarian
but frankly Libby pales in the memories of those years.
Which makes me think I'm writing the wrong story or something.
Clothes of the 70s---
I was in grad school in theatre and waitressing-- we wore maxidresses or jeans and leotards- even if we weren;t dancers, that was just so cool.
I don't know what REAL people were wearing. Adults, responsible people with jobs.
But the thought of a cake iced in shag carpeting is probably the most creative, bordering on genius, idea I have heard in weeks- maybe years.

Paisley. You need a paisley coat or at least a paisley vest.
