w/o Fed, some catalyst: QQQ to ~40 = COMPX ~1800 ?

...that's what they're implying on CNBC today; yuck!

Hell, with mushroom-cloud over SillyValley, SeaTac literally falling apart and Dubya afraid to set foot in, having written off all U.S. territories west of the Rockies... there'll be roving mobs of hooligans on the Left Coast, looking to shoot Republicans on sight ~ if this continues (^_^)

talk about your Political suicide!

Hey, BUSH II redux: it's the economy, stupid!

OEX support-levels

Berney, how do you calculate these levels?
You know, I'm not enlighted in tech-art.
Maybe you can check what I'm assuming?

OK, last significant high was 829.83 (at 9/1/00).

% est real date d-days

-10 746 757 9/26/00 25 (dcb)
-15 705 704 10/12/00 16
-20 664 662 12/20/00
-25 622
-30 581
-40 498 also "psychologic" resistance @ 500

Ok, there we also have a 477 as from sep 98.

Why at all?
Meeting of all people who are able to substract n*10% from a mountain-high?
Impact of widely used stop-limits?

It's like drawing lines in the surface of oceans :)

Tnx, I didn't/don't like sitting in it overnite but....

It's kinda like when you poupy in you pants and you are waiting for some one to change them for you! gggg At first it has that warm good feeling, but when it begins to cool off and stink its time to get out of them!!!

Thats how I feel about the FMAGX trade. Just so everyone (MG) knows, I blew the exit point and now I'm sitting in it and its beginning to stink. The preferred exit point was when the NDX refused to break the daily down trend line and OEX closed the day at 655 on 2/26. I just didn't see it and looked at it after hours, then I gnew! But the crowning insult is the fact that Berney and I keep talking about, I didn't sell the next day either! Didn't want to sell at a loss, "maybe it will go on up" mentality.... Well now I don't have an exit strategy and am at the mercy of the "hope" gods, god I hope it goes up!! ggg

All is not lost, but I am painfully aware that I blew the trade and feel baaaaaaaad about IT! Oh well, its only money.
On the "count your blessings" side of the house I could be like my peers and be down from where I am now since 1/1/00 a whopping 50% !!!

Anyway, back to work and figure a way to make the market go UP!
