Very good article A. L., ERICY knows what they are talking about. They used to amass lots of 2G contracts and prioritize the ones that charged the least penalties. In 3G this will not be possible. It will cost a bundle.

Second, there is a lot to do to streamline mobile networks implementation. I write that because that is what I do. Operators still have old foggies who spend months making acceptance tests of iron works and external cabling. An inheritance of fixed networks engineering mentality.

They must get rid of that to implement fast enough.

3G the priority will be the serrvices not the network.
