BRCM's sales consist of selling $10 of product while issuing a $9.99 refund
coupon in the form of stock certificate. Jeff Bezos wishes he had invented this scam.

I agree that if it was significant UBS Warburg and every other analyst would be screaming from the roof top. The fact that the analyst said he knew what was going on and anybody that could read knew what was going on makes it clear that it is not that big of an issue.

The only hype we see is from a journalist at WSJ trying to "make news". Oh yeah, and from this thread which is loaded with BRCM shorts.

The customers have to achieve certain sales targets in order to recieve the warrants in the first place

True. The problem is in the reporting.

I cant offer you a 50% discount, take the full selling price to show my profit and take the discount as some one time expense. If that were true every department store would start offering options on their stock in exchange for buying there, increase sales and profits thru the roof and show losses as one time events.

This is just plain smoke and mirrors. And now that investors have founf out, BRCM is getting clobbered. Down 7+ today and down 35 in the last 12 days when I bought and got screwed by theses crooks.
