Woody,

Highlight on the first message always open up the message. Then right button the mouse and click delete on pop up menu. If you highlight more than 1 message for deletion, it is faster. Press CTRL and click to highlight the messages you wish to delete. Then press right mouse button, and click on delete to delete all the highlighted emails.

I have Netscape 4.7 and although I've tried, I can't figure out how to delete unwanted e-mail without having
to open it first.

Woody

Do not use Netscape but I know in Outlook Express I can right click the unopened message in my inbox and use the delete command on the popup menu.

Ed
