Gateway is desperate right now and Intel sold them a bunch of Celerons and P-IIIs cheap so they can grovel at the low end, where they were getting killed buy the major retailers with a gazillion rebates.
They stick them in integrated mobos and sell them at the low end, where there still isn't a lot of profit.
