I agree, they will could do that. RSLC(F) is a prime candidate IMO. All they would have to do it get the bondholders to reduce their debt from 2B to 300-400M in exchange for warrants on the stock at the current price. Buy the company, merge their operations with IDT's (they have great assets) and spin off their 69% of DDDC to NTOP. RSLC(F) would then be profitable because of debt service reduction. The bondholders would get their money because their warrants would instantly appreciate when the street realized RSLCF wasn't going BK NTOP would be instantly profitable because they told everyone at the RS conference they would be profitable separate from ADIR or ATT new revenue, on a doubling of existing revenues and DDDC has about the same. IDT's earnings would go up (if they manage expenses properly) The tax losses generated and existing credits and carryforwards would probably shelter all of IDT's taxes and life goes on. The same thing could happen with PSIX but I don't think their CEO realizes he's dead yet and until he does the bondholders won't get scared and until they're scared a good deal probably couldn't be struck. Either way, I expect HJ to shelter the money. I just want the street to care. BTW, its exactly this type of special project concentration IMO that has taken the CFO away from doing his job in the first place. They need a seperate special projects CFO. Someone to keep a firm hand on operations no matter which special project HJ has everyone else responding to. It should go without saying that all of my posts are just my opinions and speculation.
