Ted...I am not sure whether Bush said this to Congress today or whether a Republican made the comment after Bush's speech, but the Dems were accused of stonewalling the tax cut so that they can put the country into recession and then blame the Reps.<<<< I don't know about the recession speech, but I do know it was reported today on Hardball, that Mario Cuomo had said that the dems had to defeat the 1.6 trillion tax decrease in order to slow GW down. Once GW gets the public on his side, Mario said it would be almost impossible for the dems to win in 2004.
