We aren't talking about a product being sold by phone. It is in 50,000 stores, every retailer of any stature, and has three separate clinical studies including one published in a highly reputable journal. It garnered the REX award for new product, etc. That claim has disappeared from all but a few who use it to annoy the product's supporters. It really boils down to whether management can pull off the deals or not. I don't blame anybody who rationally questions that at this point. I simply happen to differ with their opinion and have, to date, patiently waited for things to come together. Circumstances for the company have improved dramatically since Kehoe has taken the helm. They have NO debt, they are jointly developing three products, two with large partners and one (ZICAM)which may eventually take on a big partner. Who knows, the shorts and the naysayers may eventually be right. I seriously doubt it but I am open to that possibility. But if I am right, and one or more of their existing products <or others in the pipeline> catch hold there is dramatic growth prospect with more than adequate capital, from the big boys, to exploit. What baffles me is that the naysayers proffer absolutely no hope that GUMM will succeed. To say that they "know" this while P&G is admittedly developing products and conducting research with them, while Swedish Match, a smart & aggressive marketing venture partner having already created a holding company for the joint venture and methodically albeit secretly working on products, ANDA's and distribution planning. Moreover, how can the shorts be sure that one or more big pharma companies will not decide they are interested in Zicam after a 2d year of retailing. I know, its preposterous to believe that J&J or P&G would be interested in this product. Or is it? Yes things have developed slowly, but, I still believe that people will be surprised. I think the potential is not only huge but growing. I admit I could be wrong. The point is, I am only vulnerable for the money I have invested. (ED NOTE: This is not a widows and orphans type of investment) The same is not so for the shorts. So, who is crazy?
