A moderate view for a moderate thread?
Most investors do not time the market. Most investors can't time the market. So now is a good time to dollar cost average with monthly contributions into retirement accounts, IMO.

I believe the MSFT case may be a catalyst. I expect the large cap tech to turn up first. I don't own MSFT but expect them to win the appeal.

JQP, Add in the most likely catalyst; an overreaction to the downside leading to undervalued stocks even with the current fundamentals. The resulting updraft will be strong. If it occurs near to the time when the econ problems are seen as resolving, the surge could be sustainable. Ed
