"T, Crossing Death Valley in a Renault Dauphin? You are a man of great courage. <g> "

A boy of great stupidity was more like it. At a crossroad gas station I tried to drink out of a hose near the gas pumps. It was alkali water, of course. To keep the engine cool I had to remove the rear hood, which handily fit into the back seat. Worst of all, I had driven thousands of miles in Mexico, alone, in that tin can. Ah youth!

I guess it was good practice for shorting the entire stock market.
