this game is not about economy but to siphon wealth out working people - if you look we have bull market approximately every seven years - suckers born every seven years.

scott, alan.com deserves to be forked. however, 99.9% of people misunderstand why. take a broad view of history. alan.com faked gdp growth and productivity numbers using hedonic pricing (measuring attributes instead of economic value). this overinflated productivity growth by about 100%. this numbers change started in 1996 - at *exactlly* the same time the productivity "miracle" was proclaimed to have started. he also fakes inflation to keep the numbers lower than they otherwise would be. then, alan.com has goosed the economy with money supply increases well above required - double digits in some cases. he showered the market with extra credit so debt is HUGE.

the *real* fuel to the stock market has been 1. increasing debt, decreased savings and a false sense of "new economy" security.

alan.com s/b forked for creating an unsustainable bubble. however, most folks are so shortsighted they loved the bubble b/c it made them feel "rich."

*NEVER* has a bubble, in the entirety of history, led to good in the long term. what you see now is simple cause and effect.

you are railing against the effect. i've *itched about the cause for years. the horse needs to be in front of the cart. tanstaafl - there ain't no such thing as a free lunch. not even in the markets.
