I am a contrarian. I was short dell-following numerous articles in Barrons. I didn't buy nasdaq and tech following numerous articles in Barrons. I thought market , tech, nasdaq and internet were wildly overpriced. So, I didn't enjoy the ride up. And I got killed in my dell short.I tried to short amzn and various others and couldn't. I covered shorts in qqq and qcom too early. My cefs and other long positions did ok, but not necessarily fantastic. They didn't go up the way dell did. Since nasdaq was cut in half, I have bought once great stocks-tech,telecom,chip, and once high flying garbage after it tanked. A lot has gone lower.i.e. I finally bought the dip when others had stopped buying it.
