What I was talking about was that even now, Corporations and Consumers alike, especially younger tech savy consumers are putting their dollars into PALMs and like hand wireless devices. Its cheaper, smaller, more mobile, etc, than the combined CASH OUTLAY BUDGETS for laptops, email pagers, cdll phone and voice pagers, calculators, etc, even now, when you can get it all in a PALM with PALM OS software applications (thousands of software programs already). Then, looking at the expansion of wireless protocols, into the smaller cells, that is the smaller honeycomb of closer transmission towers like and even more so than Europe's high density system and you can fit more information in wach cell and therefore directed to each PALM user device, even at gigabyte frequencies, such as wireless LAN now (COMS and CSCO and the rest sell these now). All tha is missing is more chip storage on the PALM devices. That is coming sooner than you think. As far as speeds and chip calculations, don't forget most local ISP SERVERS and the like are not even pentium machines, they are just modified 486 speed machines in most cases, so chip clock speeds and buses are not even the issue for wireless, its really just erecting more towers. Then you have decentralization. If fact, in India and other 3rd world countries, like Europe's Scandinavian Countries, they are ahead of the US on this curve, because land based wired or cabled systems infrastructure is just not there now, and will take time and much more money than wireless, which rules there. They are more or less making a Quantum Leap to that future, with the wired infraructure then coming afterwards, and looking at it logically, we are really the ones with the cart before the faster horse, not them. Anyway, thats why this is where the sales will be, and earnings, and thus PALM's P/E is cheap on forward earnings projections that only glimpse the beginning of this wireless decentralized revolution.
