Many people think highly of ANWR. I haven't looked into ANWR because we've had so many
beautiful days here. You go outside in the morning and all the birds sing. Many cherry trees
are in bloom, and I have a few tulips that pop out of a tub.

I'll try and look at your link when I can!

Thanks,

Mephisto

What you say makes sense.

As long as colonizing populations, businesses and malls don't follow into that remote area (which will never happen), I can't see why we shouldn't surgically drill and explore for energy.

This country has the empowerment of many choices backed by the strongest economy in the world. We should come to some logical conclusions about many things especially those to do with our own environment.

However, if one is to reflect on how difficult and impossible it has become to even find a remote depository for spent nuclear rods inciting huge debates and conflicts within state legislatures, it appears an impossible task to make such decisions in a democracy. Landfills, power plants and garbage disposal furnish also prime subject targets for delay and debate.

Should we ever get into a full blown recession I think the choices will narrow dramatically. Money talks and B.S. walks.
