still is a very weak number with little improvement. I believe it was the day after this number in january AG lowered 1/2 intermeeting. Does AG think this number is a good one?

"Novellus Systems Incorporated Mid Quarter Update for First Quarter 2001" Scheduled to start Thu, Mar 1, 2001, 4:30 pm Eastern Novellus has held up much better than Applied and Lam over the last 3 months. Hill recently seemed quite confident stating his goals for 15% YOY growth in both revenues and earnings, GMs of 58%, operating expenses below 35%, and a return on assets of 22.5%. If Hill can maintain that same positive outlook he had when he stated these goals just 2 weeks ago, tonights update could be one bright spot in this sea of darkness. On the other hand, if Hill reverses course and joins the "no visibility" party line, well, you know... AdvocateDevil
