Don your raingear for shower time?

While it's the only reasonable route I think it's kind of sad that some of my kid's friends in their twenties have never had sex without a condom. Others have played with fire. I don't know any young people with HIV, or how many have had abortions. A few have babies.

Knowing that the physical barrier is necessary to prevent disease anyhow, few of the girls are on birth control. One slip and they can end up pregnant. The chance of getting pregnant is greater than the chance of catching HIV. Admitting they are on birth control would subject them to pressure to have unprotected sex, thereby risking disease on both sides.

In a comitted monogamous relationship they could take tests, remain monogamous and choose to employ other pregnancy prevention methods. But they are young and dumb and full of you-know-what.
