JF, Re: I'll never understand how people in this group, who made so much money in the Clinton years, are now getting misty eyed over policies that failed in the past...... why are we screwing up a formula that worked.??
Just for political ideology??

I think there are things that is more important than just money in our life.

JF
You give Clinton way too much credit. Economy started to recover under Bush senior and started to go south at the end of Clinton administration. The greatest Clinton achievement is that he was incapable of wrecking the economy

And he also presided over the greatest economy in the nation's history which is now going south under the dummy from Texas. I'll never understand how people in this group, who made so much money in the Clinton years, are now getting misty eyed over policies that failed in the past...... why are we screwing up a formula that worked.??

So nothing else matters besides money? The actions of an individual, no matter how corrupt, do not matter if they make us wealthy? If that is all you have in your life, or all that you feel is important, than you have much to learn my friend.

"economy in the nation's history which is now going south"

It started under the rapist. Would it surprise anyone if he pulled strings behind the scene to make it happen?

J_F_Shepard,

Interesting logic. Presiding over good economy as a counterbalance to being a rapist.

How about other rapists who don't make it to presidency? What if one is a rapist who happens to be a bus driver. Suppose he is a good bus driver, and on top of it he recycles. Is that good enough?

Please explain how this works in detail. I find it particularly entertaining when people go to great lengths finding excuses for Clinton's behavior.

Joe
