Re SMOP

John

Makes you wonder whether $4.71 is an adequate price, but I'll take it, I'll take it !!! What bothers me is that a merger is announced on 12/22 between two closely-held companies with no more than a couple of hundred public shareholders. Approval is assured but more than two months later, nothing has happened to move it forward. I may be off-base here, but the pace seems to be glacial. They have also pushed the closing back to "second quarter". I'm not really worried about collapse since SMOP may do better with someone else but I wish I could understand this delay.

Is there any reason whatever to doubt that SMOP will be bought for that $4.71 a share?

If not, we are all out of our minds not to be owning as much as we can get. I am holding mine, but it seems too good to be true.
