AJ - Nothing would surprise me. We've (almost) seen it all, haven't we? I think it all depends on whether we get a catalyst. Rumors seem to be getting more frequent and this Market really wants to go up and put cash to work, so it may believe anything. The tricky thing is that there are still so many shorting, including the powerful hedgies, that if they start to cover we could get huge rallies up, just due to short covering.

I can make a case for a NAZ 1500 or a NAZ 2500 by the end of say, next week. I think anyone can. Like you said, it may hinge alone on whether fund managers keep selling or start buying.

ONE THOUGHT - I do think that if we go down it will likely be a slow death and if we go up it could be a much more furious 1-2 day rally.

ANOTHER THOUGHT - We really need to watch if the Market continues to punish stocks who issue warnings. RMBS is talking tonight. That might be a good test for tomorrow.
