Thanks James, I see they are deploying gigabit ethernet services. I asked because about one year ago, Utfors, a service provider in Scandanavia, deployed 10 Gigabit Ethernet in the WAN using Nortels Optical Ethernet. I am puzzled why lightreading did not name Ciena as one of the players in optical ethernet in its Toxonomy article.

James and Jack, If SONET is dying, why is Intel wading into the OC-192 chip market to compete with other makers of SONET chips?
