I was impressed with Bear Stearns back when Amy Butte downgraded NITE but they are really getting to the sh*tlist lately. With the typical brokerage/underwriter revenue streams of the last several years in jeopardy, would it be fair to assume their trading desks are pressured to take larger than normal risks to make up the slack?
