I know Mac Watson personally and I like him very much. He uses the "old ways" to come up with results. He has a great property portfolio- always has. When he does exploration, he doesn't diddle with fantasy surveys- he does the stuff (trenching/drilling) that generates hard numbers for the stock to move. The only problem is that his timing was/is wrong. He continued to do things the "old way" during this tough market and as a consequence, FWR has 40 million shares out at $0.25. If the market ever recovered, he has a whole pile of warrants sitting at below $1. Did he have a choice? Well he is in the exploration business, and did do quite a bit of exploration. The problem is that he is also running a public company owned by shareholders, and the shareholders would like him to maximize their wealth. He tried to do that the "old way" and forgot about defense <g>. I hope the markets recover soon and that Mac makes a big discovery...

PS an example of defense in this market would be any junior company that is sitting on millions in cash with little stock out. There are a few still around.
