Novellus lowers expectations for Q1: Mike, I listened to the NVLS call this afternoon. Here's a few of Hill's expectations for Q1: Bookings lowered to 240mil (net of 2 major cancellations of about 43mil). That's down 50-55% from Q4 and less than their recent guidance for a drop of 35% (made 6 weeks ago). Shipments lowered to 410mil (vs recent 430mil guidance). Earnings lowered to 62 cents (vs recent 68 cents guidance) ...and don't forget about their lack of visibility...
