It's a shame it ever came to anything like this. At one time INGR had the *HIGHEST* performance X86 product on the market. And not by 5% or so. And the two companies started fighting. And INGR has had the worst of the battle 'till now. And I'm sure INTC would love to trade all they've gained to have INGR producing those *STUNNING* graphics work stations.

INGR turned a corner last year, imo. They seem to be putting their expertise into the software side. Their GIS(Geographic Information Software) looks like a comer. It has respect(at least in theory) around the people who use that kind of stuff.(The company I work for is trialing some of it now.)
