Actually, it sounds similar to the Turtle strategy, except as applied to a large number of stocks and in the intraday timeframe

Particularly in the area that I do not measure my success by how close I exit to my high P/L for the day. If I measured my success that way I would just close out my positions in the first hour each day at P/L highs and think I was great because of it. I rather make half of 50k than all of 2k !!!!!!!
