Unfortunately, not all public schools are located in W. Washington state. JLA

Also, the teachers had prepared the kids for earthquakes. People told me that the teachers
got the kids outside, and, at some schools, the kids sang, "Happy EarthQuake Day." Someone
we know drove over to his daughter's school. He said the kids were fine, but the teachers
were shaken, like many others.

The ones in the pool where I swim didn't get overly excited about the quake. One little
kid was on the 3 meter diving board! I don't know if he jumped of tried to climb back down
the stairs. I think I would have jumped!
